Munca e bratara de aur, colegii insa …

Soferul sefului meu cotrbaie pe biroul meu si eu ii fac observatie iar el se supara pe mine.
Femeia de serviciu are impresia ca daca sunt tanara si ea in varsta si cu tupeu de autobaza poate sa nu faca ce trebuie si sa mi se suie in cap.
Un coleg a refuzat sa ma ajute sa pornesc masina ramasa fara baterie pe strada alaturata,just like that, no reason.
Agentia de turism imi face o rezervare de hotel, fara sa am emis deja biletul de avion si cand anulez calatoria ma anunta ca am de platit prima noapte de cazare, desi daca sunam eu direct la hotel si anulam nu exista nicio penalizare.

Shitty co-workers

I have a friend who’s got some troubles at work.
See, she’s kinda of a very nice person, she respects everyone and is always ready to help people, but the environment she works in does not value such people. Well, that’s another story.
So now, this new girl come in the office, and she’s that kind of girl we all know, who likes to get atention, she likes to complain about stuff, she makes big deals out of every crap that happens so that people feel sorry for her. She always says yes to stuff, and she is always ass kissing every single one of those who work there. She makes them belive she admires everyone and she is so modest and needs protection, and she needs to be taken easy on.
Now this makes my friend very very angry. Because she is being ridiculous, she acts like she is stupid when in fact she is not and that pisses off my friend. Because my friend doesn’t think that , especially as a woman, you should act like that. You should be equal to everyone, and ou shouldn’t ask for atention at work. You are there to work not complain about shitty problems or ask for being spoiled by strangers. Actually, my friend is frustrated because that’s the thing, that’s the kind of behavior that is tolerated in there. Ass-kissing, stupid people are liked there. People who shut up and do whatever they are told. Now, she cannot do that. She cannot act like a bimboe, she cannot play dumb, she doesn’t take crap. So, she is frustrated when she sees that she is right but less apreciated than the other colegue.
What should she do ? My bf gave her an advice. he said, „you can either beat her with her own weapons or just learn to live with that, and since you’re not the kind of person who would lower to such means, then I guess there’s nothing you can do about it”
Is he right ? Is there no place for decent people? That makes me wonder. What do you guys think?

You never know what’s in a person’s heart until they’re tested, do you?

The thing about life and work is that until you have to work you never realize much.
You go to the playground and when someone is mean you leave home. You go to school and you know that you’ll grow up and get to do a lot more things. Then you’re in highschool and you claim nobody understands you and you wait for it to finish so you can go to college and be free. then you complain about money and rough teachers and you wait for it to be over.
And then what ? Until now the transitions were short, 3-4 years. now you got the whole life ahead of you. Life begins. People are mean, they hurt, they lie, they deceive. What do you do ? It doesn’t end, there’s no new era to look for. You have to make it. You have to survive, to adjust, to adapt and above all to volve.
Can you ? Are you strong enough to ?

I really don’t like my boss. He’s a manic person, hectic in thinking and I really can’t wait to get the hell out of here.

Although the money is not bad (besides I was never the kind of person to complain about the salary) I keep thinking that I should quit this stupid job that has had me trapped for the past few years and start fresh. I van only try to make up reasons not to do this stupid thing but it’s harder and harder with every work hour that passes.

Oh you 2013 please please please bring me a new job !!!

Is it too much to ask to have a workplace where people respect you? Is it too much to ask to find a job where you actually like what you do ?

I want to want to go to work. I want to stop waking up with dozens of perfectly usable excuses to miss a work day. I want to want to be there. I want to be eagger to start something and to know that there will actually be an ending to it.

I want to be happy in the place where I spend most of my time , most of my life. I want not to be afraid, I want to be encouraged, I want people to thank me, I don’t want lies and screams and ungratitude.

In today’s Bucharest, this is too much to ask. In my imagination, in my heart and in all my dreams and wishes this is normal, something that I deserve and will soon get.

Interviul de angajare – un alt punct de vedere

Disclaimer: Ma adresez din proprie experienta, unor rookies in privinta interviurilor, a relatiilor profesionale si vorbesc din punctul meu de vedere, nu din cel al unui profesionist, pentru ca mai mult de un semestru de optional Managementul Resurselor Umane, nu detin cunostiinte teoretice avizate.

Un aspect foarte important pe care multi il neglijeaza este reciprocitatea.
Pentru multi dintre cei care cauta un job, interviul de angajare este pur si simplu un hop pe care trebuie sa il treaca pana la a avea un venit stabil. Este lesne de inteles ca de aici apar multe probleme, de compatibilitate, de implinire, de cautare si de potrivire atat cu jobul cat si cu compania.

Trebuie avut in vedere faptul ca la un interviu nimeni nu este superior si cei doi interlocutori vorbesc de pe pozitii similare. Fiecare cauta sa gaseasca ce are nevoie in celalalt. Fiecare trebuie sa puna intrebari, sa poarte un dialog interactiv, sa stie ce cauta si sa spuna clar ce isi doreste.

E ca atunci cand mie imi e tare tare foarme dar in acelasi timp si pofta de dulceata de gutui. Si oricum as face ma intorc acasa cu un borcan de gem de prune. Ori negustorul m-a mintit si mi-a dat altceva, ori eu am acceptat compromisul, de foame.

Asa e si cu angajarile astea. Analogia merge in ambele sensuri. Angajatorul nu doreste sa fie mintit de candidat, in privinta competentelor si a experientei si se asteapta sa angajeze un om cu un anumit profil, pe care l-a cautat, selectat si in care a avut incredere. Nu ii place sa descopere 3 luni mai tarziu ca de fapt proaspatul angajat nu are atata experienta si nu stie sa se descurce atat cat a dat de inteles, pe unde se aduna si niscaiva nemultumiri si eventuale vociferari si there you go, nimeni nu e multumit cu gem de prune.

In ceea ce ii priveste analogia pe candidati, mot-a-mot ei sunt acel cautator de dulceata despre care vorbeam, caruia negustorul ii da un borcan frumos si ii spune ca e plin cu ce a vrut el, dar cand ajunge acasa isi da seama ca e cu totul altceva. Acuma, mergand mai departe in registrul asta imaginar, omu’ fiind lihnit s-ar fi multumit si cu gem de caise, doar de i-ar fi spus ca nu se gaseste ce cauta el si de ar fi stiu de la inceput ce cumpara, dar in situatia in care i s-a bagat pe gat ceva ce nu a cerut, indignare lui este complet justificata. Deci , un angajator iti spune despre cai verzi pe pereti, iti povesteste cum zboara unicorni prin paduri verzi si mananca miere cu lapte din nuferii de pe balta si cand ajungi acolo iti dai seama ca padurea e de fapt un arbust si ca a secat si groapa lacului nu numai lacul.

Luati aminte, de foarte multe ori personalul de HR are tendinta de a exagera lucrurile, de a fi politically correct in descrierea companiei unui outsider. Lucru care este de inteles, ca doar nu te astepti la interviu sa iti spuna cat de mult ai voie sa intarzii, cate tigari poti fuma, cat de mult dse barfeste la Marketing si daca e sau nu restrictionat Facebook. De aceea trebuie sa fiti foarte atenti, la mimica, la gesturi, la intonatie si sa puteti citi printre randuri in descriea oferita. (Asa cum ei sunt atenti la a voastra) La sfarsit, puneti intrebari punctuale, la care nu s-ar astepta si urmariti-le raspunsul acela spontan, pentru care nu beneficiaza de un discurs bine pregatit dinainte. Apoi puteti face comparatia cu ceea ce vi s-a spus anterior, cat a fost „poezie” si cat a fost real.

Cam atat pana acum, va doresc multa bafta si sper ca ceea ce am spus eu sa va fie util in obtinerea unui job POTRIVIT pentru voi !
